1. Our Approach To Copyright Complaints
CorelHost respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from our customers. This page explains how we handle copyright complaints across our hosting products, including Offshore Hosting and DMCA Ignored Hosting.
2. What "DMCA Ignored" Means
Some CorelHost infrastructure is located in jurisdictions where the formal copyright-complaint process differs from the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act. This does not mean copyright law is disregarded, and it does not authorise illegal content on our network. See our DMCA Ignored Hosting page for more detail.
3. Submitting A Complaint
To submit a copyright complaint, email [email protected] with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder
4. Our Review Process
Complaints are reviewed on their merits under the process applicable to the relevant hosting jurisdiction. We may contact the hosting customer for a response before taking action, except where content appears clearly unlawful.
5. Counter-Notices
Customers who believe content was removed in error may submit a counter-notice with supporting information to the same contact address.
