Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: . This page is a general template — have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it for a live business.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is and is not permitted on CorelHost hosting, including our Offshore Hosting and DMCA Ignored Hosting products.

2. Prohibited Content & Activity

Regardless of hosting plan or jurisdiction, the following are strictly prohibited on CorelHost infrastructure:

  • Content that is illegal in the jurisdiction where our servers are located
  • Child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises minors
  • Malware, phishing pages, or infrastructure used to attack other systems
  • Content that facilitates human trafficking, terrorism or violent extremism
  • Unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material at scale
  • Spam distribution or unsolicited bulk messaging infrastructure

3. Offshore & DMCA Ignored Hosting

Our Offshore Hosting and DMCA Ignored Hosting products offer infrastructure in alternative jurisdictions and a different copyright-complaint process than the standard US DMCA process. These products do not grant immunity from copyright law or any other applicable law, and this AUP applies equally to all hosting products.

4. Resource Usage

Shared hosting resources (CPU, memory, unmetered bandwidth) are subject to fair use. Accounts that materially affect the stability of shared infrastructure for other customers may be asked to upgrade or migrate to a higher-resource plan.

5. Reporting Abuse

To report suspected abuse, contact [email protected] with details of the issue and the affected domain or IP.

6. Enforcement

We investigate reports on their merits and reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in breach of this policy, with or without notice depending on severity.
